JEECUP counselling 2026: Round 6 choice filling begins; seat allotment on August 24

The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has started the Round 6 choice filling process for the 2026 counselling. Candidates seeking admission to diploma-level polytechnic courses in government and private colleges across Uttar Pradesh can now fill their preferred colleges and programmes.Eligible candidates can complete the choice filling process on the official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in, by August 23, 2026. The JEECUP Round 6 seat allotment result will be announced on August 24.Candidates will be able to check their seat allotment result by logging in with their application number and password.

JEECUP counselling 2026: Who can apply for Round 6?

Only candidates who were not allotted a polytechnic college in Rounds 1 to 5 of JEECUP counselling can participate in Round 6 choice filling.Candidates can select and arrange their preferred colleges and branches during the choice filling process. Those who are allotted a seat in Round 6 will be able to freeze their allotted seat and pay the required security or counselling fee from August 25 to August 29, 2026.Candidates who do not want to continue with their Round 6 seat and wish to participate in Round 7 can use the withdrawal option from August 30.
