‘Vishwanath and Sons’ continued its theatrical run with an improvement in earnings on Day 12. The Suriya-starrer recorded a good rise compared with its previous day’s collection. According to Sacnilk, the movie earned an estimated India net of Rs 2.80 crore on its 12th day.The film had 2,854 shows on Tuesday. Its latest collection has taken the India net total to Rs 105.50 crore. The India gross collection stands at Rs 122.05 crore. Overseas earnings have reached Rs 60 crore, taking the worldwide gross to Rs 182.05 crore.

‘Vishwanath and Sons’ sees day 12 growth

The Rs 2.80 crore collection on Day 12 represents a 36.6% increase from the Rs 2.05 crore earned on Monday. The movie recorded an overall occupancy of 23.5% across its shows.The Tamil version contributed Rs 1.55 crore to the day’s India net collection. It registered an overall occupancy of 23%. The Telugu version added Rs 1.25 crore and recorded 24% occupancy.The film performed better during its later shows. Tamil screenings reached 40.85% occupancy during the night. Telugu screenings recorded 30.73% occupancy during the same period.

State-wise collection of ‘Vishwanath and Sons’

The movie recorded an estimated India gross of Rs 3.25 crore on Day 12. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana contributed Rs 1.25 crore. Tamil Nadu followed with Rs 1.40 crore.Karnataka added Rs 40 lakhs to the day’s gross. Kerala contributed Rs 17 lakhs. The remaining parts of India accounted for Rs 3 lakhs.‘Vishwanath and Sons’ had collected Rs 81.60 crore during its first week. Its Day 7 earnings stood at Rs 4.20 crore.

‘DC’ records 48.4% rise on Day 19

‘DC’, featuring Lokesh Kanagaraj and Wamiqa Gabbi, also registered growth in its latest box office figures. According to Sacnilk, the movie collected an estimated India net of Rs 92 lakhs on Day 19.The Tamil film had 1,017 shows and recorded an overall occupancy of 22%. Its latest figure was 48.4% higher than the Rs 62 lakhs collected on Day 18.The Tamil version contributed Rs 72 lakhs. The Telugu version added Rs 20 lakhs. The Tamil screenings recorded 31.13% overall occupancy. Telugu screenings registered 24.02%.

‘DC’ crosses 100 crore worldwide

‘DC’ has so far collected Rs 67.24 crore in India net earnings. Its India gross stands at Rs 77.44 crore. The film has earned Rs 23.20 crore from overseas markets.The worldwide gross has consequently reached Rs 100.64 crore. The film had earned Rs 41.90 crore during its opening week.
