He was also questioned about whether he had signed any new movies.As seen in the video shared on Twitter pages, the actor kept his response brief. He confirmed that the production of ‘Jailer 2’ has been completed. He also said that filming for ‘Dharman’ is currently underway.Rajinikanth said, “Jailer 2 shooting over. Dharman shoot is going on. Kamal is producing the film. We are acting together in Red Giant. That’s it.”

The first single, ‘Ala Bolelo’, was released recently.The song is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and is an upbeat dance number featuring Rajinikanth. The lyrical video runs for around four minutes and incorporates Tamil and Malayalam musical elements. Actress Shamna Kasim, also known as Purnaa, features in the song.
‘Jailer 2’ set for October release
‘Jailer 2’ marks Rajinikanth’s return as Muthuvel Pandian. Nelson Dilipkumar has directed the sequel. The movie follows the success of the first ‘Jailer’.The sequel is scheduled to reach theatres on October 15, 2026. With filming now complete, promotional activities are expected to begin soon.
