Kalyani Priyadarshan has given fans an update on her upcoming project ‘Pralay’. The film, which will see the beauty starring opposite Ranveer Singh, went on floors early this month and the leading lady is sharing an update with all fans.Taking to her Instagram handle, Kalyani shared a photo dump from her life over the past months. Among the photos, was a picture of her script for ‘Pralay’ with markers and highlighters at the side.In her post, she also revealed that her film schedule in Mumbai, kept her away from home this Onam. She captioned the post as, “Fully locked in to Pralay in Mumbai this Onam, so no Sadhya with the fam, no pretty white saree pics, no festive content. Here’s a dump of random things from the last couple months instead. Hope you all had a truly happy Onam.”The actress did not reveal further details about her role or the film’s shooting schedule, but according to the latest buzz about the Jai Mehta directorial, then the upcoming post-apocalyptic zombie thriller, recently underwent major schedule changes.Various reports claimed that the production was originally supposed to take place in Australia, but the schedule was later shifted to Mumbai. This allows lead actor Ranveer to stay close as his wife, Deepika Padukone, awaits the arrival of the couple’s second child. Filming is reportedly scheduled to run continuously until Diwali 2026. Ranveer has also reportedly taken time off to be with his family following the baby’s arrival.‘Pralay’ has also generated significant buzz, as it marks Ranveer’s first project since the box office success of his films ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Dhurandhar The Revenge’. Both films went on to rewrite box office history by crossing the Rs 1,000 crore mark at the Indian box office. Collectively, the ‘Dhurandhar’ franchise also went on to record an impressive total haul surpassing the Rs 3,000 crore mark.
