Suriya starrer ‘Vishwanath and Sons’ recorded an impressive jump in its box office earnings on Saturday. The movie entered its third week with a stronger performance than the previous day.According to Sacnilk, ‘Vishwanath and Sons’ earned an estimated Rs 2.61 crore net in India on Day 16. The collection came from 1,331 shows. Its total India net collection has now reached Rs 113.46 crore.The movie’s India gross collection currently stands at Rs 131.34 crore. The overseas gross collection has reached Rs 62 crore.‘Vishwanath and Sons’ has taken its worldwide gross collection to Rs 193.34 crore. The Day 16 collection also marks a 53.5% increase over the Rs 1.70 crore earned on Day 15.

The Suriya starrer had a strong first week at the box office. Its Week 1 collection stood at Rs 81.60 crore. The movie added another Rs 27.55 crore during its second week.The film earned Rs 1.30 crore on Day 14. Its collection increased to Rs 1.70 crore on Day 15. Saturday brought another jump, with the movie earning Rs 2.61 crore.

The Tamil version earned Rs 1.43 crore net from 652 shows. The version recorded 46% overall occupancy. The Telugu version collected Rs 1.18 crore net.
