Top stocks to buy today on September 2, 2026

Stock market recommendations: NLC India, Deepak Nitrite, and Hindustan Copper have been picked as the top stocks to buy today on September 2, 2026 by Mehul Kothari, DVP – Technical Research at Anand Rathi Shares:NLC India: Buy between Rs 273–277 | Stop Loss: Rs 255 | Target: Rs 305, Rs 315NLCINDIA is trading near its previous demand zone around Rs 265–270, where buying interest had emerged earlier. This zone is likely to act as an important support area and can provide a base for a potential recovery. RSI is forming a bullish divergence, indicating that while the price has weakened, downside momentum is not confirming the decline. This suggests a possible reversal from the current support zone and improves the probability of a recovery. The stock continues to hold above the broader demand area, keeping the overall structure constructive as long as Rs 265–270 is sustained. Traders may consider entering long positions in the Rs 273–277 zone, with a stop loss of Rs 255 on a daily closing basis. A sustained reversal from the support zone can open the way for an upside move towards Rs 305 and Rs 315.Deepak Nitrite: Buy between Rs 1,790–1,810 | Stop Loss: Rs 1,690 | Target: Rs 1,965, Rs 2,020DEEPAKNTR is trading well above its 200-DMA at Rs 1,633, indicating a strong positive long-term trend. The stock has also moved above the Ichimoku Cloud, suggesting strengthening bullish price structure and continued underlying strength. RSI (14) is at 62.27 and holding comfortably above the 50 level, confirming positive momentum. The recent price action is maintaining a higher-high, higher-low structure, supporting the continuation of the broader uptrend. The current setup indicates that any correction towards the Rs 1,790–1,810 zone can provide a buying opportunity, provided the stock sustains its broader bullish structure. Traders may consider entering long positions in the Rs 1,790–1,810 zone, with a stop loss of Rs 1,690 on a daily closing basis. A sustained up move can trigger fresh buying interest and support an upside move towards Rs 1,965 and Rs 2,020.Hindustan Copper: Buy between Rs 530–520 | Stop Loss: Rs 495 | Target: Rs 620Hindustan Copper has shown a strong recovery from the Rs 480–500 zone and has maintained a broader higher-high, higher-low structure. The stock is currently consolidating after a sharp up move, with Rs 520–525 acting as an important support zone. The stock is trading above its 50-EMA at Rs 524.18 and 100-EMA at Rs 517.62, while the 20-EMA stands at Rs 538.47, keeping the broader trend positive as long as the stock sustains above the Rs 520–525 zone. RSI (14) is at 50.15 and has cooled off towards the neutral zone, indicating a healthy momentum reset and providing room for a fresh upside move. The current consolidation appears corrective rather than a reversal of the broader uptrend, and a reversal from the support zone followed by a move above Rs 540 could trigger fresh buying interest and support an upside move towards Rs 620. Traders may consider entering long positions in the Rs 530–520 zone, with a stop loss of Rs 495 and a target of Rs 620.(Disclaimer: Recommendations and views on the stock market, or any other asset classes or personal finance management tips given by experts and analysts are their own.
