‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ has continued its impressive box office run, officially becoming the third highest-grossing movie of all time.While on its golden run, the Tom Holland starrer has officially crossed the Rs 900 million mark at the North American box office, thus becoming only the second film, after ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ to achieve this feat. Interestingly, unlike the ‘Star Wars’ film, this one hit the mark in record time of just over 37 days. ‘Brand New Day’ is also closing in on ‘The Force Awakens‘ USD 936.6 million domestic record for the highest-grossing movie ever at the North American box office.As per Deadline, the film has already scored an estimated total haul of USD 2.34 billion. The film reportedly finished its fifth week with an estimated collection of USD 30.4 million, pushing its domestic total past the 900 million mark on Friday, Sept. 4.The film is expected to bring in around USD 18 million over the Friday-through-Monday Labor Day extended weekend.Meanwhile, the film had already climbed to third place on the worldwide all-time box office chart, overtaking ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’. Domestically, it has now reached third place as well, putting it within striking distance of the top two films on the US chart.While surpassing ‘Avatar’s nearly USD 3 billion global haul appears unlikely, the film could just put up one final fight against ‘Avengers: Endgame’, which currently stands in second place with a total haul of 2.79 billion. If its strong theatrical run continues, Spider-Man: Brand New Day could soon make box office history in the US.The film is expected to be released on digital platforms and physical home media, including 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD, on November 17, 2026.
