The star couple were spotted as they stepped out for a romantic date night in New York City, enjoying dinner at a popular Indian restaurant. The newlyweds were spotted arriving at Ambassadors Clubhouse, a restaurant in Manhattan’s NoMad district, sparking a frenzy among fans and the media.

Photos obtained by Page Six showed Kelce holding his wife close as he led the way into the restaurant. Travis was seen doubling up as the singer’s bodyguard and making sure no paparazzi got in their way as they walked from their SUV to the restaurant.Swift, dressed up for the date night, rocking a metallic halter dress by Stella McCartney. She completed the look with a purse from the designer, bronze metallic shoes and an Elizabeth Taylor opal ring and bracelet set that Kelce reportedly gifted her for Christmas last year. Kelce, on the other hand, opted for a white silk striped button-up shirt with brown trousers and checkered Vans. He topped his look off with delicate jewellery.

The date night came just over two months after the couple said ‘I do’, in a grand wedding at Madison Square Garden on July 3.While this was their first public spotting, Swift and Kelce have been making several joint appeances at their many friends’ weddings. Swift has largely remained private about their wedding celebrations, Kelce recently opened up about the ceremony on his New Heights podcast and said, “We needed it to be a private feel. And MSG went above and beyond to give us that.”The couple’s latest outing also comes days before Kelce’s NFL season officially gets underway. The Kansas City Chiefs are scheduled to face the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday, September 14.
