Adah Sharma has given a peek into her minimalist way of life, and it is anything but ordinary. The actor, who lives in the home once occupied by the late Sushant Singh Rajput, revealed that it has none of the furniture most people consider a necessity, including a bed, a sofa or a dining table.

The actress opened up about her unconventional way of furnishing her home, telling IANS that she would rather not get too attached to material things. “I don’t have a bed because I don’t want to get too attached to anything. Especially furniture. Relationships are already complicated enough. Why buy a bed when gravity gives you a free landing every night? If you sleep on the floor, you can have the entire floor to yourself and that’s larger than any king-sized bed,” she said.She went on to reveal that her home has no sofa or dining table either. She said: “I don’t have a bed, sofa or dining table. If you come home, we can either stand or develop strong leg muscles.”

Adah Sharma’s five-year lease on the Mumbai apartment

Sharma is reported to have moved into the Mumbai apartment that once belonged to the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. According to reports, she signed a five-year lease on the property in October 2023, and has clarified that she is renting it rather than owning it. Sharma redesigned the space around her minimalist lifestyle, with white walls, a prayer room on the lower floor, a terrace garden, a music room and a dance studio.

For those unaware, Sushant Singh Rajput passed away at his Mumbai residence on June 14, 2020, aged 34. Over his career, he appeared in several hit films, among them ‘Chhichhore’, ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’ and ‘Kai Po Che!’. His last film, ‘Dil Bechara’, came out after his death.
