Marvel fans got an unexpected Halloween treat as Robert Downey Jr. and Pedro Pascal traded their costumes to go out tick-or-treating in the neighbourhood.Downey shared a video of his shenanigans with his co-star as they got ready for a round of celebrations and film promotions. RDJ, who is set to play Victor von Doom in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, dressed up as Reed Richards, aka Mr Fantastic, while Pascal swapped his Fantastic Four outfit for Doctor Doom’s signature look.

The actors also shared a video of themselves looping their hands and going about the streets, casually trick-or-treating with children.Downey is stepping into the shoes of Victor von Doom, one of Marvel’s most formidable villains for the upcoming film that will also see, Pascal playing the role of his best friend and rival, Reed Richards. Their characters are expected to be at the centre of the conflict in ‘Doomsday’, which is scheduled to release worldwide on December 18, 2026.

Meanwhile, Marvel’s promotional campaign has also taken to the skies in South Korea, where a spectacular drone show celebrating ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ lit up the night over Ttukseom Hangang Park in eastern Seoul.The display featured more than 2,000 drones, which illuminated the sky with imagery depicting the transition from Thanos to Tony Stark, and finally to Doctor Doom.

‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is reportedly witnessing a massive pre-release surge, with advance ticket sales estimated to have crossed USD 125 million, months ahead of its release. According to reports citing box office tracker Global Box Office, the Marvel blockbuster had crossed USD 125 million milestone by October 27. The film that is also releasing simultaneously in China, is expected to rake in over USD 300 million while also earning over USD 300-400 million from international box offices, thus setting it up for a USD 1 billion opening weekend.
