‘Scene’ vs ‘Mookuthi Amman 2’

‘Scene’ faces competition from Nayanthara’s Mookuthi Amman 2, which also arrived in theatres today, November 6. Both films target family audiences during the festive weekend, making the box office competition interesting. Popularity of Suriya, the past success of Jithu Madhavan’s movies, and fascination with Nayanthara’s Tamil debut may help ‘Scene’ attract a large audience. However, ‘Mookuthi Amman 2’ gets its strengths from that of its successful film series and Nayanthara’s fame.DISCLAIMER: Figures presented in this article are derived from various public sources and are considered approximate unless explicitly noted.
