He shared a simple greeting with his followers on Twitter, writing, “Happy Diwali .” Unlike Mammootty’s post, which featured a film-related reveal, Mohanlal’s message focused entirely on the festival. The actor is preparing for his next appearance in ‘Athimanoharam’, directed by Tharun Moorthy.
Mammootty’s upcoming film with Dhanush
Apart from ‘Mela’, Mammootty is also set to appear alongside Tamil actor Dhanush in ‘OM: Chapter 1: Udhiram – The Blood Wood’. The project brings together two prominent performers from Indian cinema. It is directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, who previously helmed the Tamil film ‘Amaran’.The upcoming project is an action drama and is scheduled for a theatrical release on November 20, 2026.
