IISER 2026 counselling schedule released, round 1 admission starts July 24: Check details

The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) have announced the counselling schedule for IISER Admissions 2026. Candidates who qualified in the entrance examination will be able to participate in Round 1 admission from July 24 at 5 pm.According to the schedule, the Round 1 admission window will remain open till July 28, 5 pm. The Round 2 admission offers will be available from August 1 (5 pm) to August 5 (5 pm). The Round 3 admission offers will be released from August 10 (5 pm) to August 13 (5 pm).Candidates will have to log in to the official IISER admission portal during the respective counselling rounds to check their admission offer and complete the seat acceptance process within the given deadline.The institutes have advised candidates to complete all admission formalities on time. Those who do not accept their allotted seat before the deadline may lose their admission offer.

IISER 2026 seat acceptance fee

Candidates who receive an admission offer will have to pay the seat acceptance fee to confirm their seat.Candidates belonging to the General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Other Backward Classes-Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Kashmiri Migrants (KM), Kashmiri Pandit, and Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) categories will have to pay Rs 35,000. This amount includes a non-refundable administrative fee of Rs 10,000.Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories will have to pay Rs 17,500, including a non-refundable administrative fee of Rs 5,000.
