Delhi University has published the Round 3 BTech seat allotment for the 2026 admission cycle. Candidates allotted seats must complete seat acceptance by July 21, followed by document verification and fee payment within the notified deadlines. The university has also confirmed that further counselling rounds may be conducted if vacancies remain after Round 3.

The University of Delhi (DU) has announced the Round 3 seat allotment results for B.Tech. Admissions 2026 through the official admission portal of the university, engineering.uod.ac.in. The candidates who have attended the third round of counseling can now view their allotment result through the admission dashboard.The students who have been allotted a seat in this round must confirm their seat allotment by July 21, 2026, according to the admission calendar published by the university.The Faculty of Technology has enabled the seat allotment results of the third round for the BTech admission program. The applicants can check their allotment results through the official DU BTech admission portal by logging in with their JEE Application Number and password.

DU BTech Round 3 seat allotment result: Steps to download

Candidates can follow these steps to download their Round 3 allocation status:

  • Go to the official DU BTech admission portal, admission.uod.ac.in.
  • Click on the Login option.
  • Enter the JEE Application Number and password.
  • Open the Round 3 Seat Allocation Status link.
  • Check the allotted seat details displayed on the screen.
  • Download and save the allotment status for future reference.

Seat acceptance deadline ends on July 21

Candidates allotted seats in the third round are required to accept their allotted seats by July 21, 2026. Failure to complete the acceptance process within the deadline may result in the forfeiture of the allotted seat.Following seat acceptance, the Faculty of Technology will conduct online verification of the uploaded documents by July 22, 2026. Candidates whose documents are successfully verified must pay the admission fee by July 23, 2026 to confirm their admission.

Upgrade option available for eligible candidates

The university has clarified that the upgrade option will be available only to candidates who had already confirmed their admission in Round 1 or Round 2 by paying the seat acceptance fee and are currently enrolled in a DU BTech programme.Eligible students opting for an upgrade may be considered in subsequent counselling rounds, subject to seat availability.

More counselling rounds may follow

According to Delhi University, if there are any seat vacancies after the conclusion of the third round, then more rounds of seat allotment for BTech will be held. It is recommended that candidates keep checking the official website for further notifications regarding admissions and counseling sessions.
