DU CSAS UG Round 2 allocation 2026 out; 24,814 fresh seats allotted, acceptance deadline today
The University of Delhi has published the second-round CSAS undergraduate seat allocation results for the 2026-27 academic session. A total of 24,814 new seats have been allotted, while thousands of applicants secured upgraded preferences. Students must confirm their allotted seat within the prescribed deadline and complete fee payment to finalise their admission.

The University of Delhi (DU) has announced the second round of seat allocations for undergraduate admissions under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for the 2026-27 academic session. Candidates who participated in Round 2 can now check their allocation status by logging into their CSAS dashboard on the official admission portal.The university has also urged candidates allotted seats in this round to complete the admission process within the stipulated timeline to avoid losing their allotted seat.

More than 24,800 fresh allocations announced

According to the university, a total of 24,814 fresh seat allocations have been made in the second round of the admission process.

Candidates allotted a seat must accept their allocation by 11:59 pm on Sunday, July 26, 2026.Apart from fresh allotments, the second round also witnessed a significant number of seat upgrades. As many as 30,682 candidates received upgraded allocations, reflecting students’ movement to higher-preference programmes or colleges based on seat availability and merit.The university further said that 15,265 applicants had opted to freeze their allotted seat, indicating that they chose to retain their previously allotted programme or college and did not wish to participate in further upgradation.

Fee payment deadline

Candidates whose admission is approved after accepting their allocated seat must complete the online fee payment process by 11:59 pm on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.The university has advised students to adhere strictly to the admission schedule, as missing any deadline may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

DU CSAS Round 2 allocation result: Steps to download

Candidates can follow these steps to access their allocation status:

  • Go to the official DU CSAS admission portal, admission.uod.ac.in.
  • Log in using the registered credentials.
  • Open the candidate dashboard.
  • Check the Round 2 allocation status.
  • Accept the allotted seat, if satisfied, before the deadline.
  • Complete the admission formalities, including fee payment, within the prescribed schedule.

Minimum allocation scores available online

Along with the Round 2 allocation results, the University of Delhi has also made available the minimum allocation scores for various undergraduate programmes and participating colleges on the official admission portal. These scores provide candidates with an overview of the closing allocation marks across different courses in the second round.Applicants are advised to regularly monitor the official CSAS website for programme-wise allocation details, admission schedules and any subsequent announcements regarding the remaining rounds of undergraduate admissions.
