Stock Market Today Live Updates: Market benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty rebounded in early trade on Monday following a sharp decline in crude oil prices amid easing tensions in the West Asia.

The 30-share BSE Sensex jumped 566 points to 76,608.66 in early trade. The 50-share NSE Nifty surged 153.60 points to 23,923.30. Brent crude, the global oil benchmark, tanked 4 per cent lower at USD 92.84 per barrel.

Global cues, corporate earnings, central bank policy and commodity prices continue to shape investor sentiment, with markets reacting sharply to every new development. Geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, fluctuations in crude oil prices, and expectations around the US Federal Reserve’s interest rate outlook remain among the biggest external factors influencing equities.

Investors are also keeping an eye on key macroeconomic indicators, quarterly earnings from heavyweight companies and sector-specific trends. Banking stocks, large-cap valuations and shifts in risk appetite have emerged as major themes, while movements in oil prices and shipping activity through key global trade routes continue to add uncertainty.
