For me, it is the biggest responsibility of making these movies: making sure that young kids have someone that they can look up to,” Holland said in an interview with PEOPLE during the Los Angeles Premiere on Monday, July 27, 2026. “And I don’t mean that in me, I mean that in Peter Parker,” the actor explained. Admitting that he himself had Peter Parker as his role model for years, Tom expressed, “He’s been a role model to me since I was a young kid, and even since I started playing him. So it’s a responsibility that I don’t take lightly, and something that I think is really important.”As for Holland being Peter Parker, he established that he would likely continue donning the suit as long as the makers would want him. During his interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he said, “So if this movie does good, I guess we’ll see!”
