Aarti's mother Sujatha Vijayakumar's special advice to Ravi Mohan: 'Be the father your son will speak about with pride like Jason Sanjay speaks of Vijay'

The ongoing family dispute involving actor Ravi Mohan has taken another dramatic turn. Producer Sujatha Vijayakumar, the actor’s mother-in-law, has now spoken at length about the controversy, rejecting several allegations made by Ravi and making an emotional appeal centred on his children. During her interaction with the media in Chennai, she addressed multiple issues, including financial claims, custody-related matters and the actor’s relationship with his family. However, it was her message about fatherhood that drew the biggest attention and quickly went viral on social media.

Sujatha Vijayakumar urges Ravi Mohan to spend time with sons

Speaking to reporters, Sujatha Vijayakumar referred to Jason Sanjay’s recent words of admiration for his father, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam president and actor Vijay. “Just as Chief Minister Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay spoke proudly about his father, you should also become a father whom your son will proudly speak about,” she said while addressing Ravi Mohan. As reported by News 18, she further urged him to spend time with his children, adding, “The court has already permitted you to meet your children. At least now, you should meet them.” Sujatha also denied that her family had stopped Ravi from seeing his sons and insisted that the children’s well-being should remain the top priority.

Producer rejects allegations and defends her family

Sujatha Vijayakumar strongly denied Ravi Mohan’s allegations, including his claim about black magic. “Can someone who has been vomiting blood for 15 years still be alive?” she asked, dismissing the accusation. She also claimed that several allegations made by Ravi were false and said her family possesses documents relating to salary hikes, financial transactions and cheques to support their stand. Responding to the maintenance issue, she said, “It is false to say Aarti demanded Rs 40 lakh for herself. That amount includes the children’s education, food, loans and other expenses. We have never stopped him from meeting the children.” She also alleged that Ravi had not cooperated by signing the passports required for the children.

Bharathiraja and K. Bhagyaraj’s memorial event announcement shares the spotlight

Apart from the family issue, Sujatha Vijayakumar also announced a memorial event to honour legendary filmmakers Bharathiraja and K. Bhagyaraj, scheduled to be held on August 16 in Chennai. According to her, several leading personalities from the Indian film industry, including Vijay, Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Mohanlal and Mammootty, are expected to participate in the event. Although the court case of Ravi Mohan and Aarti is still pending, the recent statement of Sujatha has added a fresh element of emotion to the debate, with her plea on behalf of the children forming the key point of her media interview.
