Thalapathy Vijay‘s ‘Jana Nayagan’ has achieved another major milestone at the box office. India and overseas collections take total to Rs 303.74 crore
‘Jana Nayagan’ has collected Rs 181.55 crore in India net. Its India gross collection has reached Rs 211.74 crore. The overseas market added another Rs 75 lakhs on Day 13, taking the international total to Rs 92 crore.‘Jana Nayagan’s worldwide gross collection now stands at Rs 303.74 crore. The latest milestone comes after the film completed a successful first week with Rs 153.55 crore in India net collections.The film was screened in 3,967 shows across India on its second Tuesday. The Tamil version earned Rs 1.80 crore.The Hindi version collected Rs 28 lakhs while the Telugu version added Rs 2 lakhs. Tamil Nadu contributed Rs 1.76 crore in gross collections on Day 13.Among the other regions, Karnataka and Kerala collected Rs 15 lakhs each. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana contributed Rs 3 lakhs while the rest of India added Rs 30 lakhs. Together, these markets helped the film record a Day 13 India gross of Rs 2.39 crore.
Occupancy remains steady despite collection drop
The Tamil version registered an overall occupancy of 21.17% on Tuesday. Evening shows performed the best, recording 27.31% occupancy. Morning, afternoon and night shows registered 15%, 19.77%, and 20.54%, respectively.The Hindi version reported an overall occupancy of 16.33%. Night shows attracted the highest footfall at 21.64%. Morning shows recorded 9.91% occupancy, while afternoon and evening shows registered 16.27% and 15.91%, respectively.
