BSEB Bihar DElEd, DPEd result 2026 out

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has declared the results of the Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) Joint Entrance Examination 2026. Along with this, the board has also announced the Diploma in Physical Education (DPEd) results for the first-year (2025-27) and second-year (2024-26) training sessions.Candidates who appeared for the examinations can now download their scorecards from the respective official websites.According to the board, the DElEd Joint Entrance Examination 2026 was conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from June 8 to June 22, 2026.This year, 2,23,835 candidates appeared for the entrance examination, of whom 1,65,609 qualified. The overall pass percentage stands at 73.99%.Candidates can check and download their DElEd entrance scorecards by visiting bsebdeled.com. They need to log in using their application ID and date of birth.The entrance test consisted of 120 multiple-choice questions and was held for 2 hours and 30 minutes. Candidates from the unreserved category were required to score at least 35% marks to qualify, while the minimum qualifying marks for reserved category candidates were 30%.

Admission process to begin separately

BSEB has said that admissions for the 2026-28 DElEd academic session will be based on the merit list prepared from the entrance examination scores.Eligible candidates will be allotted seats in 60 government teacher education institutes with 9,100 seats and 246 private affiliated teacher education institutes offering 21,650 seats across Bihar.Seat allotment will be carried out as per the state’s reservation policy, category-wise seat allocation, seats reserved for Urdu and different academic streams, and the college preferences submitted by candidates.The board has also informed candidates that they will have to fill the Common Application Form (CAF) online to participate in the admission process. The detailed schedule for the CAF process will be announced separately.

DPEd results also announced

BSEB has also released the DPEd examination results for the first-year (2025-27) and second-year (2024-26) training sessions.A total of 149 candidates appeared in the two examinations, of whom 132 qualified. The overall pass percentage was 89.59%.According to the result data, 48 candidates appeared in the first-year examination and 36 qualified, taking the pass percentage to 75%. In the second-year examination, 101 candidates appeared and 96 cleared the exam, recording a pass percentage of 95.05%.

Scrutiny window opens from August 10

Candidates who are not satisfied with their DPEd marks will be allowed to apply for scrutiny from August 10 to August 13, 2026 through the official scrutiny portal.The board has fixed the scrutiny fee at Rs 200 per subject. The scrutiny application process will be conducted online only.Candidates can download their DElEd, DPEd scorecards by visiting bsebdeled.com, dped.biharboardonline.org, respectively.
