AIIMS MSc Nursing round 1 seat allotment result 2026

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has announced the round 1 seat allotment result for Master of Science (MSc) Nursing admissions 2026. Candidates who took part in the counselling process can now check their allotted institute and course on the official AIIMS examinations website.The round 1 seat allotment has been prepared based on the choices submitted by eligible candidates during the choice filling window held from July 14 to July 18, 2026.Candidates who have been allotted a seat must complete the online seat acceptance process and report to their allotted AIIMS, including AIIMS New Delhi, within the schedule announced by the institute.

How to check AIIMS MSc Nursing round 1 seat allotment result 2026

Candidates can follow these steps to view their allotment result:

  • Visit the official AIIMS examinations website.
  • Click on the MSc Nursing 2026 admission link on the homepage.
  • Open the Round 1 Online Seat Allocation Result notification.
  • Check the PDF containing the list of allotted candidates.
  • Download and save the result for future reference.

Documents required for reporting

Candidates must carry the following documents while reporting:

  • Offer letter
  • Round 1 seat allotment letter
  • Final registration slip
  • AIIMS MSc Nursing 2026 admit card
  • Class 10 certificate or birth certificate as proof of date of birth
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) Nursing, Bachelor of Science (Honours) Nursing or Post Basic Bachelor of Science (BSc) Nursing degree or provisional certificate from a recognised university
  • Marksheets of the qualifying examination
  • Registration certificate as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RN/RM) issued by a State Nursing Council
  • Proof that the nursing college from which the qualifying degree was obtained is recognised
  • Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class – Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) or Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate, if applicable, in the prescribed Central Government format
  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) certificate, wherever applicable

Round 2 counselling

Candidates who participated in round 1 will be eligible for round 2 counselling. Those who accepted their allotted seat and selected the option for upgradation, as well as candidates who were not allotted any seat in round 1, can take part in the next round.AIIMS has also clarified that candidates who did not complete registration or choice filling during round 1 will not be eligible for round 2. However, they may be allowed to participate in the open round, if it is conducted.The institute further said that the choices submitted during the first choice filling process will automatically be carried forward to round 2. No fresh choice filling will be permitted.
