Stock market today: BSE Sensex slips over 250 points in early trade, NSE Nifty50 slips to 24,510 levels

Benchmark indices began the session under pressure, with both BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty slipping in early trade. The BSE Sensex was at 78,286.46, down 255.98 points or 0.33%, while the Nifty 50 stood at 24,510.70, lower by 71.55 points or 0.29%. The weakness comes after the indices ended almost flat in the previous session, as gains from select sectors were offset by concerns over crude oil prices and geopolitical uncertainty.
