Ravi Kishan says that his wife wants to lock him up
While appearing on a recent segment of News18 India, the actor revealed his wife’s reaction to him regularly going viral on Instagram. He joked and shared, “Patni humko boli, ‘Tum ghar se nikalte ho toh viral hote ho,’ toh woh baccho ko bol rahi thi ki inko yahi kamre me lock kar dete hai. Na yeh niklenge na yeh viral honge.” (My wife told me, ‘Whenever you step out of the house, you go viral,’ so she was telling the kids, Let’s just lock him in this room—that way, if he won’t go out, and he won’t go viral.)Ravi Kishan and his wife, Preeti, have been married since 1993, and share four children: three daughters, Riva, Ishita, and Tanishka, and one son, Saksham.
Ravi Kishan on how his wife locked him up in ‘Bigg Boss ’
In another interview from last year with Camera7, Ravi Kishan opened up about his wife and shared that at one point in his career, he was extremely arrogant and was doing around 17 films simultaneously. He shared, “That’s when my wife took me to Bigg Boss and locked me up there. She thought I was going crazy. At that time, I had too much money. I used to work in three shifts in those days. I was working in 17 films at the same time. I would sleep in my car and only sleep when I was travelling from one set to another. At one point, I was shooting for five films in the same studio.”He added, “I didn’t have work and didn’t have money, so when I got it, I didn’t want to lose it. So somewhere, I was starting to get arrogant. That’s when my wife locked me in Bigg Boss for three months. That’s where everyone started liking me, and they were not even eliminating me. When I got out of there, it felt like three years had passed.” Ravi Kishan further mentioned that after getting out of ‘Bigg Boss’, he became a “sorted person”, and started receiving offers from the Bollywood industry. He also ended up choosing politics after his stint on the hit reality show.Ravi Kishan last appeared on the big screen in ‘Dhamaal 4’, where he played the role of Adhoora alongside stars like Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, and Riteish Deshmukh.
