Vismaya Mohanlal’s debut movie ‘Thudakkam’ recorded a slight decline in its domestic earnings on the second Tuesday. According to Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 49 lakhs in India net on Day 12.The latest figure is 3.9% lower than the Rs 51 lakhs earned on the previous day. The movie recorded 808 shows across India during its 12th day.With Tuesday’s earnings included, ‘Thudakkam’ has accumulated Rs 21.30 Cr in India net collections. Its India gross collection currently stands at Rs 24.70 Cr.
Worldwide gross reaches Rs 40.60 Cr
‘Thudakkam’ has collected Rs 15.90 Cr in overseas gross earnings so far. When the domestic and international figures are combined, the film’s worldwide gross collection reaches Rs 40.60 Cr.The film’s India gross currently stands at Rs 24.70 Cr. Its cumulative India net collection has crossed the Rs 21 Cr mark.
‘Thudakkam’ records 13.52% occupancy
The Malayalam version of ‘Thudakkam’ recorded an overall occupancy of 13.52% on Day 12.Morning screenings recorded 5.33% occupancy. Afternoon shows registered 12.08%. Evening screenings stood at 10.25%. Night shows recorded the strongest occupancy of the day at 15.58%.
Second-week collections remain lower
‘Thudakkam’ finished its first week with Rs 16.05 Cr in India net collections. The movie collected Rs 1.60 Cr on Day 6 and Rs 85 lakhs on Day 7.The film’s second-week numbers have been lower than its opening-week figures. On its second Monday, ‘Thudakkam’ earned Rs 51 lakhs. The movie registered Rs 49 lakhs on Tuesday. It recorded 13% overall occupancy on both Day 11 and Day 12.Despite the weekday decline, ‘Thudakkam’ has continued its theatrical run. The movie has now crossed Rs 40 Cr in worldwide gross collections.
Mohanlal announces seven upcoming movies
Meanwhile, Mohanlal has unveiled a lineup of seven upcoming movies.
