Taking to social media, the actor shared a cryptic video hinting that he plans to take action against people spreading what he called unverified claims about the incident. Ashwin Mushran posted a video on his Instagram on Friday, August 21, appearing in front of the camera without directly addressing the incident. However, his caption was seen as a clear response to the online allegations against him. The ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ actor wrote, “The absolute pleasure in seeing a reel about me being deleted. If you spew venom or post unverified information… Expect a response…. One by one.“

The row began after local leader Amol Kanekar alleged Ashwin Mushran was involved in a collision with a biker in Goa, claiming a piece of the biker’s bone was lodged in the car’s tyre fender. He further alleged that Mushran and his wife argued with locals instead of apologising.However, a police official clarified that Mushran was not driving at the time. A case has instead been registered against his driver, Vasant Puttappa Laman, 32, who was behind the wheel during the collision.Two people were injured after the car, in which Mushran was travelling, collided with a scooter in Goa’s Kushawati district. The accident took place in Quepem village, police said.Mushran is known for films like ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’, ‘Shehzada’, ‘Fashion’, ‘Main Tera Hero’, and ‘Desi Boyz’.
