DU PG admissions 2026: CSAS Spot round dates out, check revised schedule

The University of Delhi (UoD) has revised the schedule for Delhi University Postgraduate (DU PG) admission 2026. As per the updated timetable, the upgrade round seat allotment for candidates who opted for the ‘Upgrade’ option will be released today, July 22, on the official admission portal, pgadmission.uod.ac.in.Candidates who receive an upgraded seat must complete the admission process within the prescribed timeline. Colleges and departments will verify and approve applications until July 24, and candidates must also pay the admission fee by July 24, 2026.The university has also announced the revised schedule for the DU PG Spot Round 1. The list of vacant seats will be displayed on July 25, while eligible candidates can apply for the spot round from July 25 to July 26.In addition, the DU PG Round 2 allotment for performance-based courses, including Master of Fine Arts (MFA), Master of Arts (MA) Music, Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd), and Master of Physical Education (MPEd), along with Children/Widows (CW) and Ward supernumerary quota admissions, will be released on July 28. Candidates allotted seats in this round will have to confirm their admission by July 30.

The university also shared the latest figures for the Delhi University Common Seat Allocation System (DU CSAS) Undergraduate (UG) 2026 admissions.According to the data, 63,756 candidates have confirmed their admission in Round 1. Among them, 15,265 candidates selected the Freeze option, while 48,153 candidates opted for the Upgrade option.Delhi University had earlier allotted seats to 93,033 candidates across 221 undergraduate programmes offered by 67 colleges for the 2026-27 academic session.
