While the brothers Alex and Cole speaking might surprise many viewers, showrunner Melanie Halsall explained to Tudum that they have always remained close despite the problems. In fact, they share similar traits of being ‘competitive’ and ‘adrenaline junkies.’ Noah LaLonde, who plays Cole, added that underneath the complications, the brothers really care for each other.As for Jackie, she desperately feels the need to bring the family together. “There’s a part of her that feels like she’s responsible for what happened to George because she feels that she just messed everything up in those last few moments of Season 2,” Halsall said.
