CBSE CTET September 2026 city intimation slip to be out soon

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) September 2026 city intimation slip soon. The board has not announced the exact date for releasing the city slip or admit card yet.The official CTET website, ctet.nic.in, currently states that the “Advance City Intimation Slip Schedule will be available soon”. Candidates will be able to download the city intimation slip using their application number and password.The CTET September 2026 examination will be conducted on September 6. The exam will be held in two shifts. Paper 1 will be conducted from 9:30 am to 12 noon, while Paper 2 will be held from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.

CTET 2026 exam pattern

The CTET question paper will have 150 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 150 marks.

Paper 1 will cover Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Language 1 and Language 2.
Paper 2 will include Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics and Science, Language 1 and Language 2.

The city intimation slip will mention the city where the candidate’s examination centre will be located. It will help candidates plan their travel arrangements in advance.The CTET admit card will contain important details such as the examination date and time, examination centre, exam-day instructions, candidate’s name, parents’ names, photograph, signature and other personal details.

Once the city intimation slip is released, candidates can follow these steps to download it:

Visit the official website, ctet.nic.in.
Click on the CTET 2026 city intimation slip link on the homepage.
A new window will open.
Enter the application number and password.
Click on the submit button.
The CTET 2026 city intimation slip will appear on the screen.
Download the slip and keep a copy for future reference.

The CTET is conducted for candidates seeking teaching opportunities for Classes 1 to 8. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website for updates on the city intimation slip and admit card release dates.
