In her post, Ireland accused Perez Hilton, whose real name is Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr., of targeting her family for years.“Perez Hilton has publicly humiliated my family for years, sexualized me from a young age, commented on my weight and body (as a child), made unforgivable comments about people in my family… and has always been a despicable human being,” she wrote.Perez Hilton rose to prominence after launching his celebrity gossip website in 2004, becoming known for controversial reporting tactics and provocative commentary on Hollywood stars.Over the years, he has faced criticism for his tabloid-style coverage, including accusations of spreading misinformation, invading celebrities’ privacy and publicly outing LGBTQ+ celebrities without their consent.Ireland said her father, Alec Baldwin, along with his wife Hilaria Baldwin and their children, had frequently been the subject of Perez Hilton’s coverage.
‘His children deserve better’
Despite her criticism, Ireland said her thoughts were with Perez Hilton’s family during this difficult time.“But his children deserve better and a healthy father and I am so sad for all of them.
