Companies set to raise Rs 7.2k crore via IPOs

MUMBAI: The new week promises to be extremely busy for the primary market with as many as 11 main board and five SME offers lined up, together targeting about Rs 7,200 crore. This is a precursor to the likely blockbuster later in the month when NSE IPO opens to raise an estimated Rs 30,000 crore. A few weeks down the line, Dalal Street is expected to see another mega offer, that of Jio Platforms eyeing about Rs 37,000 crore.As things stand, when NSE IPO closes in about two weeks from now, it would be the biggest primary offer in India, ahead of the Rs 27,800 crore offer from Hyundai Motors India that had closed in late 2024. However, that ranking will change after Jio Platforms lists at end-Oct or early-Nov.During the current week, the IPO rush is being led by RentoMojo, which is eyeing Rs 1,256 crore from investors. The offer, a combination of a fresh issue worth Rs 150 crore and another offer for sale worth Rs 1,106 crore, is set to open on Sept 9 and close on Sept 11, data from public offer analytics platform Chittorgarh showed.The week is also set to witness the launch of an offer from a company that’s a new category for Dalal Street: ARCIL, the first asset reconstruction company to be set up in India, is tapping the market for a Rs 733 crore offer. The IPO will open on Sept 9 and close on Sept 11.The IPO week will kick off on Monday itself with the Rs 515 crore offer for Pranav Constructions. It will close on Wednesday. Three issues: Glass Wall Systems’ Rs 428 crore offer, Prasol Chemicals’ Rs 500 crore offer and Kanohar Electricals’ Rs 1,056 crore offer will open on Sept 8 and close on Sept 10.The other large offers that would go live during the week are Manipal Payment and Identity Solutions (Rs 805 crore offer), Steamhouse India (Rs 414 crore), LCC Projects (Rs 427 crore) and Karamtara Engineering (Rs 875 crore). In addition to these issues, there are also three companies that are slotted to list on the main boards of the bourses: Purple Style Labs, Rays of Belief and Deepa Jewellers.
