The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the Class 12 supplementary exam result soon. Once out, students can check it on the official website, cbseresults.nic.in.CBSE conducted the Class 12 supplementary exam, also called the compartment exam, on July 28, 2026. Around 1.63 lakh compartment candidates appeared for it.
When will the result come out?
CBSE has not announced an official result date or time yet. But going by past years, the board usually declares the compartment result two to three weeks after the exam. Since the exam this year was held on July 28, the result is widely expected sometime in August.

Once declared, students will be able to check and download their result from these official websites:

Steps to download your marksheet
Follow the steps below to download your scores, once out
- Go to the official website, cbseresults.nic.in.
- Look for the link that says “Class 12 Supplementary Result 2026.”
- Enter your details, such as roll number, school number and admit card ID.
- Submit the details.
- Your result will appear on the screen.
- Download it and keep a printout for future use.
Students can also access their digital marksheet through DigiLocker, once the result is officially declared.The result published online is provisional, meaning the original marksheet will be issued by the school later. Students are advised to keep checking the official CBSE websites for the latest updates on the exact result date and time.
