The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reopened the online application window for the 22nd edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). Eligible candidates who could not apply during the earlier registration period can now submit their applications from August 25 to September 1, 2026.CBSE issued the public notice on August 25, citing the Supreme Court’s emphasis on providing eligible teachers a reasonable opportunity to meet the statutory requirement of acquiring the prescribed Teacher Eligibility Test qualification.CTET application window reopenedThe earlier application window for the 22nd edition of CTET was open from May 11 to June 10, 2026. CBSE has now decided to provide another opportunity to eligible candidates who could not complete their applications during that period.The online application portal has opened on August 25 and will remain available until September 1.
