Mercury and Venus are both retrograde in Scorpio, signaling a time for revisiting past discussions. This period may lead to unexpected messages from former partners or unresolved arguments. It is important to carefully review communications and confirm important details before proceeding. Caution is advised in financial matters to avoid mistakes in transactions. Overall, this is a time for reflection and careful consideration before making new commitments.

Mercury stops and turns retrograde in Scorpio today, and the next few weeks may bring back words you thought were finished. Venus is also retrograde in Scorpio. Two messenger-and-value planets now work backwards in the same sign.

Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio: Old Threads Return

Mercury rules speech, travel and paperwork. In Scorpio, it deals with secrets, trust and what people avoid saying. A reply you never received may finally arrive. A voicemail from spring may resurface on an old phone. So slow down with anything official. Reread an email before sending. Confirm train tickets and appointment times. Back up photos and documents this weekend, since a lost file is far harder to fix later.

Mercury and Venus: Two Retrogrades, One Sign

Venus looks at love and shared money. Mercury looks at how people talk about both. Together they push unfinished talks to the front. Who agreed to what? Was a promise ever put in writing? Not every return is unwelcome. An honest talk that was cut short in September can now be completed. But avoid signing new deals in a rush. Revisit, repair and revise first.

Signs to Watch

Scorpio feels this most, with Mercury and Venus in its sign. Words carry extra weight, so choose them with care. Gemini and Virgo, ruled by Mercury, may face mix-ups in messages or bookings. Taurus could hear from a former partner or business contact.Libra may finally close a talk left open after last week. Cancer and Pisces sense hidden meaning in every pause. Capricorn should double-check figures at work.Aries and Leo may feel impatient with delays. Sagittarius and Aquarius are better off leaving a heated topic alone until tomorrow.

Love, Career and Money

Love: A former partner or friend may send a short text out of nowhere. Read it twice before replying. Couples may return to an argument from earlier in the month. Begin with one clear sentence about what hurt, then stop and listen.Career: Check calendar invitations and time zones before a Monday call. A colleague may reopen a decision you thought was final, so keep the original email handy. Avoid sending a resignation or complaint while tempers are tense.Money: Review standing orders, direct debits and any refund you are still owed. A payment sent to the wrong account or a duplicate charge may show up. Contact the bank with dates and amounts. Hold off on a new phone or laptop until the retrograde ends.
