Gaana, Fenix360 tie up to boost engagement
Streaming changed how the world listens to music. (Representative image)

MUMBAI: Gaana has partnered with social media and creator platform Fenix360 to build a more direct relationship between artists and their audiences by bringing content, community and commerce together within one ecosystem. At the centre of the integration will be a native scrolling social feed within Gaana, enabling artists to share visual content around their work while allowing fans to discover, follow and engage with them without having to move across multiple platforms.Streaming changed how the world listens to music. But for a long time, the relationship between artists and fans has largely stopped at the play button. Discovery happens on one platform, community happens on another and monetisation happens somewhere else if it happens at all. This partnership aims to close that gap.The wider ecosystem will also introduce new monetisation opportunities for artists. Through Fenix360’s tools, artists will be able to build digital storefronts, offer physical and digital merchandise, sell tickets to live shows, host gated and paid live streams, and receive direct financial support from their fans. A key part of the proposition is Fenix360’s creator-first monetisation model, under which artists will retain 70% of the revenue generated through its monetisation tools.
