India have been dominant so far, beating Thailand by 94 runs and Hong Kong by 137 runs. Smriti Mandhana has been the standout performer, smashing a record-breaking 124 off 64 balls against Hong Kong. Her knock also took her past Mithali Raj as the leading run-scorer in women’s international cricket.

Pakistan, meanwhile, opened their campaign with a 35-run win over Thailand. Muneeba Ali’s 54 and a strong bowling effort led by Sadia Iqbal helped them secure victory.

The key battle could be between India’s powerful batting line-up and Pakistan’s spin attack, with Sadia Iqbal and Nashra Sundhu expected to pose a threat on Dubai’s slow surface.

India have dominated the rivalry, winning 14 of their 17 T20Is against Pakistan, including their most recent meeting at the 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup.
