JENPAS UG 2026: WBJEEB releases OMR images, response sheets; raise objections by July 11

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) images and machine-recorded responses for candidates who appeared in the Joint Entrance Test for Nursing, Paramedical and Allied Sciences Undergraduate (JENPAS UG) 2026 examination.Candidates can now view and download their OMR images and recorded responses by logging in to the official WBJEEB portal using their application credentials.Those who are not satisfied with the recorded responses can submit a challenge till July 11, 2026, up to 11:59 pm. As per the official notice, candidates must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 500 per response through net banking, debit card, or credit card. The board has clarified that no challenge will be reviewed if the payment is unsuccessful.WBJEEB has also explained how responses are displayed. For Category-I questions, where only one option is correct, the response is shown as A, B, C, or D. For Category-II questions, where more than one option may be correct, the response appears as a combination of the selected options.Unattempted questions are marked with a “-” symbol, while questions with multiple marked answers are shown with an “*” symbol.Along with the responses, candidates can also check their question booklet number and OMR sheet number on the portal. If any candidate finds incorrect information in these details, they must inform WBJEEB by email within the prescribed deadline.The board has further stated that it will review all valid claims before preparing the final scores and ranks. No request for correction, review, or challenge will be accepted after the deadline, and the board’s decision will be final.

How to check OMR images and recorded responses

Here’s how to access both:

  • Visit the official WBJEEB website.
  • Click on the “OMR Recorded Response – View and Challenge for JENPAS (UG) 2026” link.
  • Log in using your application number and password.
  • View your OMR image and recorded responses.
  • If required, submit a challenge and pay Rs 500 per response.
  • Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.
