Kangana Ranaut hits back at trolls pointing mistakes in her bhog preparation video on Janmashtami: 'Tum msirf khaane pe dhyaan do'

Actor and MP Kangana Ranaut is no stranger to sharing glimpses of her life at home, especially during festivals and special occasions. On Janmashtami, the actor gave her followers a peek into the celebrations at her Manali home, sharing a video of herself preparing a special bhog for the festival. However, what caught attention online was not just the festive preparation but a comment from an X user questioning whether Kangana had even turned on the gas while cooking. The user pointed out that the utensil Kangana was using was already blackened and claimed that she had forgotten to switch on the gas oven. Kangana, who noticed the comment, responded sharply and offered an explanation for the cooking process before taking a personal dig at the critic.Kangana replied, “Yeh halwa nahi bhog hai (This is a separate dish), many ingredients are prepared separately and then all are mixed in this phase, before setting and then cutting it into pieces, can’t expect cooking skills from people who are a burden on parents and the planet, tum sirf khaane pe dhyaan do (you focus on eating only) don’t worry about cooking.”

The exchange comes shortly after Kangana found herself embroiled in another public spat, this time with yoga guru Swami Ramdev. Last month, the actor sparked controversy after commenting that some young Hindu women flaunt freedom without accountability, referring to them as ‘generation gutter’. Her remarks drew criticism from Ramdev, who reportedly described them as a reflection of a ‘spoilt mind’ and urged her political party to take note of the statement.Kangana subsequently hit back at Ramdev, asking him to take note of his SC case. The public disagreement, however, appeared to come to an end around Raksha Bandhan. Ramdev had expressed his desire to put the feud behind them and replace the dispute with a conversation. He also revealed that he had a Rakhi gift for Kangana and intended to call her on the occasion.Kangana later shared a video of Ramdev making the statement on her Instagram Stories and welcomed his gesture. Sharing her thoughts on the festival, she wrote, “Tyohar ka din hota hai sab bhool chook maaf karne ke liye hai, mere Bhai Baba Ram Dev ji ne bahut achcha kaha ki vivaad nahi, samvaad hona chahiye (All mistakes are forgiven on the day of the festival. My brother Baba Ramdev has rightly said that it must not be a debate but a conversation).”She went on to accept both his Rakhi sweets and his gesture of affection, writing, “Aaj Rakshabandhan ke din main unki mithai aur bade bhai ka prem dono swikaar karti hoon. Bahut dhanyawad. Ishwar Aapko lambi aayu de (On the day of Raksha Bandhan, I accept the sweets and the love offered by a big brother. Thank you so much, may god grant you a long life).”
