The Karnataka Directorate of State Educational Research and Training (DSERT), in partnership with the Regional Institute of English, South India (RIESI), has launched a year-long academic support programme to enhance bilingual teaching in government schools. In its attempt to strengthen the bilingual schools, Directorate of State Educational Research and Training (DSERT) initiated a year long state level workshop with the Regional Institute of English, South India (RIESI).The workshop focused on strengthening the implementation of bilingual education in government schools by equipping District Resource Team members with the knowledge and skills required to support teachers in the field.
