As reported by Pinvillai, the makers have reportedlu locked September 11, 2026, as the OTT release date for ‘Magudam.’ The film will stream on Amazon Prime Video, giving audiences another opportunity to watch Vishal’s first directorial venture from home. The movie will be available in Tamil and Telugu, according to current OTT listings. The digital premiere comes less than a month after its theatrical release and puts the focus back on Vishal’s ambitious attempt to handle both acting and direction.
Vishal plays Linga and Kiruba in father-son revenge drama
‘Magudam’ follows Linga, a powerful gangster played by Vishal, and his estranged son Kiruba, who has chosen a peaceful life away from his father’s violent world. Their lives take a tragic turn after Kiruba loses his wife and daughter in a clash involving local criminals. The devastating incident pushes him back towards violence and revenge. Linga then steps in to protect his son and grandson, bringing the estranged father and son together.
