Soori’s ‘Mandaadi’ continued its theatrical run with a stronger performance on its third Sunday. The Tamil actioner registered a 29.6% rise in its daily net collection compared with the previous day.According to Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 2.98 cr on Day 18. The collection came from 1,343 shows across India. With this addition, the movie has reached an India net collection of Rs 89.98 cr. The film’s India gross currently stands at Rs 105.06 cr. Its overseas markets have contributed Rs 16.80 cr in gross earnings. This takes the worldwide gross collection of ‘Mandaadi’ to Rs 121.86 cr.The latest day’s business came after the film earned Rs 2.30 cr on its third Saturday.
‘Mandaadi’ third weekend performance
The third weekend began with Rs 1.40 cr on Friday. The collection increased on Saturday before recording another rise on Sunday.The film’s occupancy also showed an upward movement over the three-day period. The third Sunday recorded 50.1% overall occupancy across its reported shows. ‘Mandaadi’ had accumulated Rs 57.30 cr during its first week in theaters. The movie added Rs 26.00 cr during its second week.The movie’s Day 18 collection was recorded across 1,343 shows. Its overall India net has consequently moved closer to the Rs 90 cr mark.
‘Mandaadi’ occupancy report
The Tamil 2D version of ‘Mandaadi’ registered 52.70% overall occupancy on Day 18. Morning shows recorded 38.77% occupancy. The afternoon shows reported 53.46%. Evening screenings registered the highest occupancy among the four reported time slots at 58.31%. Night shows recorded 48.31% occupancy. The overall occupancy figure stood at 52.70% for the Tamil 2D version.
