The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra will release the MHT CET 2026 provisional merit list today, July 22, for candidates who registered for the counselling process. Once released, candidates will be able to check the merit list on the official websites, cetcell.mahacet.org and fe2026.mahacet.org.The provisional merit list will include candidates’ ranks prepared on the basis of their Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2026 performance and Class 12 marks. Earlier, the MHT CET result only displayed percentile scores.Candidates are advised to carefully check all the details mentioned in the provisional merit list after downloading it. If they find any mistake, they will be able to submit objections or request corrections until July 23, 2026. After reviewing all objections, the CET Cell will publish the final merit list on July 27, 2026.
How to check MHT CET 2026 merit list
Candidates can follow these steps to download the provisional merit list:
- Visit the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org.
- Open the admission portal at fe2026.mahacet.org.
- Go to the Notifications section.
- Click on the
MHT CET 2026 Provisional Merit List link. - The merit list will open in PDF format.
- Download the PDF and check your details carefully.
What happens after the merit list is released?
After the provisional merit list is published, the CET Cell will open the objection window. Candidates who notice any incorrect information can raise objections within the given deadline.Once all valid objections are reviewed, the CET Cell will release the final merit list. The counselling process will then move to the choice filling and option entry stage. Seat allotment will be carried out based on the ranks mentioned in the final merit list.
