NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has revised the schedule for Round 2 of NEET SS 2025 counselling following directions issued by the Delhi High Court. In a notice dated August 5, the committee said it has withdrawn its notification issued on August 3 with immediate effect and announced a fresh timeline for the counselling process.The decision follows an order passed by the Delhi High Court in Writ Petition (C) No. 11097/2026, titled Sunil & Anr. v. Medical Counselling Committee. The court permitted the petitioners to re-register and participate in Round 2 of the NEET SS 2025 counselling process.August 3 notification withdrawnReferring to the court’s observations, the competent authority stated that the August 3 notification has been withdrawn with immediate effect.
