The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of the Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) January 2026 semester examination. Candidates who appeared for the examination conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode can now check and download their scorecards from the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/swayam.The SWAYAM January 2026 semester examination was held on June 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21, 2026, in 10 sessions across 201 examination centres located in 149 cities across the country. A total of 898 courses were offered during the examination.The National Testing Agency has announced results for 829 courses that were conducted completely in Computer Based Test mode. The results for the remaining 69 hybrid-mode courses are still being processed. Candidates who appeared for these courses are advised to regularly check the official website for updates.

SWAYAM January 2026 result overview

According to the National Testing Agency:

A total of 1,26,773 candidates registered for the examination.
1,07,887 candidates appeared for the exam.
For the 829 CBT-mode courses, 1,22,953 candidates registered and 1,04,834 appeared.
For the 69 hybrid-mode courses, 3,820 candidates registered and 3,053 appeared.

How to check SWAYAM January 2026 result

Candidates can follow these steps to download their scorecards:

Visit the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/swayam.
Go to the Public Notices section on the homepage.
Click on the link for the SWAYAM January 2026 CBT result.
Enter your application number and other required login credentials.
Submit the details.
Your scorecard will appear on the screen.
Download and save it for future reference.

Direct link here.The Agency has clarified that its role is limited to conducting the examination, declaring the scores and sharing the results with the Ministry of Education. The final scorecards and certificates will be issued by the respective National Coordinators for each course.Candidates who have any queries related to the examination or result can contact the Agency through the official SWAYAM helpdesk email.
