NEW DELHI: Commerce and industry minister Piyush Goyal, who will visit the US for the meeting of G20 trade ministers, will meet his American counterparts to discuss the bilateral trade deal.The two sides have been engaged on the issue but a final outcome is expected after the US unveils its future tariff strategy. It has already imposed 10-12.5% additional tariff on over 50 countries for their failure to check goods using forced labour, while the outcome of the second section 301 probe related to structural overcapacity in several countries, including India, is pending. Several analysts have argued that the next step will be unveiled after the G20 meeting in Milwaukee on Wednesday and Thursday.In Milwaukee and Chicago, Goyal will also meet CEOs of American companies, an official statement said.
