Veteran film producer Vashu Bhagnani has reportedly been hospitalised in London.The reason for his hospitalisation has not been disclosed yet.When contacted by ANI, Bhagnani asked to be left “alone”. Further details about his health condition are awaited.
IT raids 12 locations linked to Vashu Bhagnani
News of his Vashu’s hospitalisation comes just a day after NDTV reported that the Mumbai Income Tax Department launched searches at 12 locations linked to Bhagnani, his daughter-in-law Rakul Preet Singh, and Panorama Studios in Mumbai. The search was conducted over suspected fund irregularities.As per the report, investigators believe that funds are allegedly being routed abroad under the guise of financing film projects. Various teams were reportedly verifying documents, financial records, and other details of the alleged overseas transactions.The examination of records is expected to establish the nature and purpose of the transactions under investigation.
