The much-awaited biopic was officially launched in Chennai on the occasion of her 110th birth anniversary. The project has already generated interest among cinema and music fans, with Rashmika Mandanna set to portray the iconic singer. Filmmaker Gowtam Tinnanuri is directing the film, which is expected to explore the different stages of Subbulakshmi’s remarkable life and career.
