SAINT SATINE, an upcoming girl group, was slated to debut as a four-member group under the same company as famed pop group KATSEYE. However, according to the latest updates, one of the members confirmed for debut has chosen to drop out of the race. Here is what we know so far.

Lexie Levin drops out of SAINT SATINE ahead of debut

Ahead of their upcoming debut, Lexie Levin has parted ways with SAINT SATINE. An official statement posted on Weverse by their management agency revealed that the singer and dancer chose to drop out of the group after lengthy discussions about the matter.The official statement from the company read: “Following extensive and thoughtful discussions with Lexie regarding the group’s future activities, both parties have mutually agreed to part ways. While Lexie will no longer continue as a member of SAINT SATINE or as part of HxG, we sincerely wish her all the best in her future endeavours.” Later on, Levin also posted about her departure from the group and wished nothing but the best to her “forever sisters,” Emily, Samara and Sakura.She took to her personal Instagram account to address her departure from the group, sharing that there was a difference in the way things were being done. She added, “Hi, Lexie here! When I joined Project SAINT SATINE, I truly believed it was the right place for me. I was excited by the presented vision and plans we were going to be working towards together.”Further ahead, she mentioned the management agency and shared how grateful she was for the opportunity. She added, “While it feels heavy-hearted, I have found peace in that some things in life aren’t destined. I have nothing but respect and appreciation for the team, but we have different ways of operating, and that’s okay! Now I’m on my next adventure! My debut and future might look different than what you expected, but stay tuned! I’m not done yet.

Who is Lexie Levin

Lexie Levin is a Swedish singer who appeared alongside members of KATSEYE in ‘Dream Academy’. She was one of the contestants on the show; however, during its run on OTT, Levine dropped out after realising that her interest lay with producing music. An official statement about her departure from the show was also shared on X (formerly known as Twitter).She was announced as one of the members of SAINT SATINE in August 2025 along with Emily Kelavos and Samara Siqueira. The group at the time operated under the name PRELIUDE, while their management agencies ran a survival show in Japan titled ‘World Scout: The Final Piece’ to find the fourth and final member of the group.The show ran for 12 episodes, and the contestants were judged by a talented panel of judges including LE SSERAFIM’s Sakura and Kazuha, as well as ILLIT’s Moka and Iroha. Known television personality Sashihara Rino was also part of the judging lineup. By the end of the show, 16 year old contestant Tobi Sakura from Toyama, Japan, was announced as the fourth and final member of SAINT SATINE.The group had also performed their first pre-debut track titled ‘PARTY b4 the PARTY’ in the final episode of the show, officially starting their journey as a four member group.At the time of writing, it remains unclear whether the company will be adding another member to the group or not.
