‘7 Dogs’ ending explained: Does Khalid stop the Pink Lady drug shipment? Know happens to Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt’s characters in the climax

Spoiler Alert: This article discusses key plot developments from ‘7 Dogs’. If you haven’t watched the film yet and want to experience the climax without spoilers, reader discretion is advised. The Saudi Arabian action thriller ‘7 Dogs’, helmed by Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi, has finally hit Indian screens. Led by Ahmed Ezz and Karim Abdel Aziz, the film received a lukewarm response from critics in India. Notably, it brought Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt back together on screen for the first time since movies like ‘Saajan’ and ‘Chal Mere Bhai’. Sanjay takes on the role of Ranjit, while Salman portrays Johar. The plot centers on Interpol officer Khalid Al-Azzi, who races to intercept a drug shipment, codenamed Pink Lady, being smuggled by the ‘7 Dogs’ gang into the Middle East.

How does ‘7 Dogs’ begin?

The film opens with a gripping confrontation between Interpol officer Khalid Al-Azzi and Ghali Abu Dawood, a man tied to a criminal syndicate. Once Khalid wraps up this mission successfully, he asks his senior officer for a transfer to a desk job. Meanwhile, Ghali is handed a 15-year prison sentence.

Khalid gets a new mission against ‘7 Dogs’

Having stepped away from fieldwork, Khalid turns his attention to wedding preparations with Rabab (Hana El Azad). Just then, two female officers show up at his residence, telling him that his senior officer needs to see him urgently. Once he arrives at the office, Khalid is briefed on a fresh assignment: intercepting the 7 Dogs gang’s Pink Lady drug shipment before it reaches the Middle East. There’s a catch, though: pulling this off will require Ghali’s cooperation.

Ghali strikes a deal to help stop ‘7 Dogs’

Khalid approaches Ghali for intel, but Ghali strikes a deal, he wants his sentence cut down to 10 years in exchange. After some back-and-forth, Khalid realizes that Ghali will actually need to be released from prison altogether for him to be of any real help in the mission.

The hunt for ‘7 Dogs’ members begins

Ghali assists Khalid in tracking down two of the seven men who make up the 7 Dogs gang, but ends up killing both before Khalid can extract any useful information from them. Khalid’s superiors warn him that Ghali isn’t someone to rely on, but he chooses to trust his gut and presses on with the mission alongside him. Following a tip from Roman Marks (Giancarlo Esposito), Khalid tracks down another 7 Dogs member, Giulia Leone (Monica Bellucci).

Does Khalid succeed in stopping 7 Dogs’ shipment?

However, Giulia uncovers Khalid’s true identity and takes both him and Ghali captive. While Khalid’s team manages to rescue him, Ghali slips away and disappears. Things take a major turn when Khalid stumbles upon a lead pointing to another ‘7 Dogs’ member and the shipment’s whereabouts. The big question remains, does Ghali come back to team up with Khalid, and do they manage to stop the shipment before it reaches the Middle East? You’ll have to watch the film to find out.
