The figure takes into account his interests across businesses, including Red Chillies Entertainment and Knight Riders Sports.The latest estimate marks a substantial decline from the Rs 12,490 crore attributed to him in the Hurun India Rich List 2025. Based on the two published figures, his estimated wealth is down by Rs 2,490 crore over the year.Despite the decline, Khan remains the highest-ranked actor on the 2026 list. Amitabh Bachchan is listed next with an estimated wealth of Rs 4,000 crore, followed by Salman Khan at Rs 3,000 crore and Hrithik Roshan at Rs 2,500 crore.The change also illustrates why celebrity wealth estimates can vary substantially between editions of rich lists, depending on the assets, businesses and valuations considered in a particular assessment.
Shah Rukh Khan’s next film is King
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is preparing for the release of ‘King’, his upcoming action thriller directed by Siddharth Anand. The film is scheduled to arrive in theatres on December 24, 2026.‘King’ features Khan alongside Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi and Anil Kapoor. Suhana Khan is set to share the screen with her father in the film, while the project is being produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures.The film’s release date recently became a subject of speculation, but Shah Rukh Khan addressed the issue during an #AskSRK session on X on September 15. Responding to a fan asking for an update, he indicated that the film would release as scheduled and said that the promotional material would arrive before December 24.Khan also revealed that he had sustained injuries while shooting, resulting in interruptions to the production schedule, but said that the work was now nearly complete.With King locked for December 24, the film marks Shah Rukh Khan’s next major theatrical release as he returns to the big screen following ‘Dunki’ in 2023.
