‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ continued its record-breaking run at the Indian box office. The Tom Holland-led superhero film has already emerged as one of the biggest Hollywood blockbusters in India and is now inches away from closing in on the historic Rs 500 crore gross milestone.

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ box office collection Day 11

On Day 11, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ recorded a strong Rs 34.70 crore net across 13,862 shows in India, according to early estimates on Sacnilk. Its gross collection for the day is estimated at Rs 41.53 crore.The film witnessed an 11.9% growth over its second Saturday collection of Rs 31.00 crore. The jump is particularly noteworthy considering the film had collected Rs 15 crore on its second Friday.With Sunday’s numbers added, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ ended its second weekend with an impressive Rs 80.70 crore net.

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ maintains steady grip

Spider-Man: Brand New Day had already delivered a historic opening in India. After collecting Rs 257.95 crore net over its extended opening weekend, the film went on to record a phenomenal Rs 334.75 crore net in its first week.While collections naturally dipped during its second week, the film has continued to attract substantial audiences. Its second-week collection has already reached an estimated Rs 96.59 crore gross, a remarkable figure considering that many Hollywood releases struggle to reach Rs 100 crore over their entire theatrical runs in India.

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ to hit Rs 500 crore mark

The film’s second-week performance has helped push its overall India collection to new heights. The film has now collected an estimated Rs 415.45 crore net, while its India gross collection has reached approximately Rs 496.86 crore.That puts the film just a few crores away from the Rs 500 crore gross milestone. With the final figures still awaited, it remains to be seen if the film can make it past the mark.If the early estimates hold, and Monday begins on a high for the film, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ could just become the first Hollywood film to cross Rs 500 crore gross at the Indian box office, and take the throne as one of the biggest international blockbusters ever released in the country.

‘Spider-Man’ surpasses ‘Avengers: Endgame‘ and ‘Avatar: The Way of Water‘ records

The Tom Holland starrer has already raced past the previous benchmarks set by some of Hollywood’s biggest blockbusters in India.‘Avengers: Endgame’ had previously occupied the second position among the highest-grossing Hollywood films in India with a lifetime gross of approximately Rs 445 crore. Spider-Man: Brand New Day has comfortably surpassed that figure and that of James Cameron‘s ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’, which had a lifetime India gross of approximately Rs 477.50 crore.With its India gross now hovering around Rs 496.86 crore, all eyes are on the box office to see if the final figures for Sunday, ould push ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ officially across the Rs 500 crore mark.
